How Blocks Behave in the Arena

Each block carries a number and falls into a rectangular play area governed by a physics simulation. Blocks tumble, slide, and settle against one another rather than locking into a grid. When two blocks with matching numbers make contact, they combine into a single block whose value equals the sum of the two. That merged block can then touch another of the same value and merge again, so a single drop can trigger a chain reaction that reshapes the pile.

Reading the Layout Before You Drop

Positioning matters because the physics engine does not guarantee a tidy result. A block released near the center can nudge a cascade that shifts several neighbors, while one placed near an edge might roll into a gap. Players weigh the current arrangement against the merges they hope to set up later. As the pile grows taller, open space shrinks and the margin for a careless drop narrows. The run ends when the stack reaches the top of the arena.

Visual Clarity and Sound Feedback

The interface stays minimal: bright colors distinguish each number value, and blocks use subtle shading and rounded edges so they remain easy to tell apart even when crowded. Motion looks smooth, with blocks wobbling and settling naturally. Soft thuds mark a landing, and a chime plays when numbers merge, giving immediate confirmation that a combination succeeded.

Playing in a Browser

The game runs directly in a web browser on desktop and mobile, with no download or installation. Controls are a single action: click or tap to position a block, then release to drop it. The layout adapts to screen size for comfortable play on phones and tablets. Because each session generates a unique arrangement, there is no fixed sequence of moves to memorize.
